11th April 2019 By The Editor
Day one of the Munster Rugby U17 Inter-County Competition took place at Cork Institute of Technology over the weekend with six teams from across the province participating in the inaugural event.
The squads are made up of club players from across the Munster counties with teams scheduled to meet again on day two of the competition this Saturday and the top two counties facing off in the final of the competition at 1.15pm.
Clare are leading the way at the top of the table having won four from four last weekend, both Cork teams are sitting mid-table having lost only one match each, while East Munster and Kerry are rounding up the bottom of the table.
The U17 Inter-County Competition is an opportunity for age-grade club players to develop their skills in a fun and competitive environment, while also encouraging them to participate in the game.
