The draw for the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Junior Cup quarter-final has been finalised with two rounds of action producing some exciting ties.

St Munchin’s and St Clement’s will go head-to-head in an all-Limerick final, following a dramatic win for St Clement’s over Glenstal Abbey in yesterday’s play-off at UL and St Munchin’s opening round victory over Bandon Grammar.

Holders CBC are drawn against Rockwell College, who pushed past Glenstal Abbey in their first round encounter while Christians defeated Ardscoil.

Crescent College and Castletroy College are drawn against PBC and Bandon Grammar respectively.

Crescent overcame St Clement’s and Castletroy defeated PBC in the first round of competition, while PBC claimed a win over Ardscoil in the play-off round and Bandon Grammar received a BYE.

Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Junior Cup quarter-final draw:

St Munchin’s College v St Clement’s College, Tuesday 30 January, Thomond Park, Back Pitch (kick-off 2.30pm)

Castletroy College v Bandon Grammar School, Wednesday 31 January, UL 4G (kick-off 1.30pm)

Rockwell College v CBC, Wednesday 31 January, Clanwilliam FC (kick-off 2.30pm)

Crescent College v PBC, Wednesday 31 January, UL 4G (kick-off 12 noon)

The semi-finals of the Junior Cup will be played on the week beginning February 19 and the Senior Cup will begin on the week of February 26.

The final of the Junior Cup take place on the week beginning March 5 with the Senior Cup final on Sunday, March 18.
