Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup Semi-Finals Confirmed

The Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup semi-final stage details have been confirmed ahead of next month’s matches.

Tuesday 5 March: Christian Brothers College v Ardscoil Rís, Irish Independent Park, 2pm

Wednesday 6 March: Presentation Brothers College v Glenstal Abbey / Bandon Grammar School, Irish Independent Park, 2pm

Glenstal Abbey and Bandon Grammar recorded a dramatic 15-15 draw in the quarter-final of the Schools Senior Cup at Irish Independent Park yesterday.

The replay match will take place as part of a double-header with the Ardscoil Ris v Castletroy Schools Junior Cup quarter-final match on Tuesday 26 February at Thomond Park (kick-off 3.30pm).

School of Excellence

The inaugural Munster Rugby School of Excellence is set to provide a complete rugby experience for players aged 13-16 this summer.

The Munster Rugby Development Department will host a residential / non-residential camp at Rockwell College where players will experience a week in the life of a professional rugby player and learn the Munster values, such as excellence, integrity and community.

The School of Excellence camp will take place from Monday 12 August to Friday 16 August and for a limited time only, Munster Rugby are offering an early bird rate of €399 residential and €299 non-residential until Friday 1 March.
