Clonmel RFC Host Stage 2 Coaching Course

Munster Rugby Coach Development Department recently ran an IRFU Stage 2 Coaching Course at Clonmel RFC.

Over 30 coaches attended the two day course focusing on developing the coach to teach rugby with an emphasis on allowing the player explore the game within their respective position.

The course was both tutorial and practical based which included indoor presentations on the role of the coach, teaching skills and planning and organisation skills.

The practical element included peer coaching techniques while developing the use of key factors to enhance technical development.
