Clonmel RFC To Host Spirit Of Rugby Festival

On Sunday April 6th, Clonmel RFC will host their inaugural Under 9’s Spirit of Rugby Festival.

The Spirit of Rugby is an IRFU initiative that promotes the core values of the game – Respect, Inclusivity, Integrity, Fun and Excellence.

Spirit of Rugby aims to support players, coaches, volunteers and parents and its primary purpose is to educate those within the game about their rights and responsibilities on and off the field.

The club and its volunteers have put countless hours into planning the event which is aimed at showcasing the Spirit of Rugby values that are closely aligned with our game.

Sunday will see the arrival of 440 players and 80 coaches from 22 rugby clubs across the province. The blitz itself is a great opportunity to showcase the importance of participation, inclusivity, and rugby spirit.
