Thomond RFC hosted their first-ever Friday Night Lights when they welcomed Bruff to Fitzgerald Park earlier this month.

It was a historic evening for the Limerick club, who despite losing out to the visitors 11-10 on January 12, recently installed their new floodlights to expand their playing and training options for all senior and junior squads.

Thomond’s first senior and junior matches under the lights took place in December when their 1st XV defeated Bective Rangers 18-14 in All-Ireland Division 2C, and their U13 squad welcomed Nenagh Ormond.

The club have also recently refurbished their club house and dressing rooms.
