Club Notes | Gerry Harrington Memorial Game

This coming Saturday in Musgrave Park both Dolphin RFC and Sunday’s Well RFC will come together to play a game in memory of a great servant to both clubs who left us far too early, Gerry Harrington sadly passed on 23rd December 2021.

Gerry was a larger than life character who gave his heart and soul to rugby and it’s fitting that the two teams at either side of ‘Musser’ who were fortunate enough to have Gerry involved with them will play in his memory, KO 2pm on Sat 17th December.

This is our way to let Áine, and his family Seán, Liám, Cáit & Ciarán know that we’re thinking of Gerry at this time and no doubt they’ll be players on both sides that owe a lot to Gerry’s coaching skills.

There will be a collection for Marymount Hospice on the day, a charity close to the Harringtons’ heart, and donations are welcome.

All are encouraged to come along and maybe raise a toast to Gerry after.
