Club Notes: Muskerry RFC Seek New Head Coach

Muskerry RFC are seeking to appoint a head coach for its Munster Junior League Division 1A men’s team for the 2022/23 season.

Muskerry RFC is a growing, ambitious club based at Inniscarra Community Centre 20 minutes’ drive west of Cork city.

The club fields two adult male teams and has a strong underage system with teams at all age groups from U-7 to U-18.5.

The club has excellent facilities and will have match floodlights in place for the 2022/2023 season.

Key Responsibilities:

• To design and deliver a coaching programme that ensures that both adult teams have a coherent and appropriate gameplan through the season that optimises the potential of the players.

• Attend and supervise all training sessions and games for the first team.

• Foster and maintain a positive team culture within the adult playing group.

• Assist with the recruitment of coaches and players.

Previous coaching experience is essential as is knowledge of Junior rugby and the local rugby landscape.
