Club Notes: Old Crescent Celebrate 75th Anniversary With Breakfast Event

Our latest edition of Club Notes come from Limerick club Old Crescent RFC.

On Wednesday we had the pleasure of special guest Sir Bill Beaumont joining us for a breakfast event to help celebrate our 75th Anniversary.
Bill regaled us with stories of his career at Fylde RFC, England and the British and Irish Lions as well as anecdotes from his many years as a captain on A Question of Sport and his career at World Rugby.
A packed Castletroy Park Hotel crowd of over 300 enjoyed hearing from and meeting Bill and we are very grateful for his support.
Kudos to Dave O’Malley and his brilliant team for pulling this fantastic event together. Thanks also to Ken Johnson, Managing Partner of PwC for their sponsorship of the event which was also attended by Minister of State with responsibility for Local Government and Planning, Kieran O’Donnell, Munster Branch President, Ger McNamara, renowned international referee, Andrew Brace, Su Carty, IRFU Representative to World Rugby and more.
