Club Notes | Waterford City Council Host Reception To Recognise Achievements Of Dungarvan RFC

Earlier this month Waterford City Council held a civic reception for Dungarvan RFC in recognition of the club winning the award for Club Mini Section Of The Year at this year’s Munster Rugby Awards.
Players and coaches from age grade right up to senior as well as a number of the club’s committee members attended on the night to celebrate the achievements of the club.
They were awarded the Club Mini Section Of The Year title for their hard work at minis level.
During the 2023/24 season, Dungarvan hosted the Munster Minis Blitz, the largest blitz held in their history with everyone involved in the club working extremely hard to ensure its success.
The club has seen a lot of growth in the number of girls playing rugby and they also have up to 140 mini players registered with the club.
