Club notes this week from Newcastle West RFC, where a Munster Rugby Skills Camp will be running alongside the usual summer camp for older boys looking to hone their skills, and Old Crescent, who gave out their Player of the Year award for last season.

Junior and U20 Squads
Strength and conditioning is taking place in Killeline next Tuesday night at 7pm. All Junior and Under 20 players welcome to attend.
U18
Pre-season training is on Thursday nights at 7.30pm in Killeline.
Elite XV (Seconds)
We are entering an elite (seconds) team into the upcoming seasons competitions. We are going into these competitions with our near neighbours Estuary Rfc, Abbeyfeale Rfc, and Listowel Rfc. This is a great opportunity for all four clubs to give guys a chance to play rugby. We are looking to recruit as many players as possible. So if anyone is interested in playing for this team you can contact the manager, Sam Lane on 086 2007482 or from any other of partners in this new venture you can contact the respective clubs committee and they will pass your details onto Sam.
Adare To Survive Challenge:
We are looking for people from 16 years old up to participate in Adare to survive on Sunday 24th of September. We are hoping to have at least 20 people participating we can have a group up to 50. We are looking for players’ parents, coaches or family and friends to come join the group. The more that join the group participating the cheaper the entry for each individual to pay to participate. Tag Rugby
Every Wednesday night 19.30 to 20.30 there will be Tag rugby for people who are 16 years old and older we have had a lot of parents take part in this and have decided to keep it going as a social and fitness group. No experience necessary we will teach you along the way so come join us every Wednesday night in Kilelline Grounds.
Munster Rugby Camp
We are hosting a Munster rugby summer camp for all ages from 6 to 12 years old you have to book on line for this. The camp will run from August Monday 21st to Friday 25th 09.30 to 13.30 each day. Camp kids learn from the Munster youth’s coaches and on the Friday meet two of the players from Munster. Munster Rugby Skills Camp
Munster are willing to provide a Tuesday to Friday “Skills Camp” for Boys only aged 12 to 15 at same time as our Munster Rugby Camp week in August Monday 21st to Friday 25th. Cost €35 euro.
