Thought Of The Week

"If you want to conquer, don't sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy"

Waterford City RFC

Waterford City 15 Killorglin 05

Another home league win for City sees them claim 8th spot, gain revenge for last years defeat and ease off any worry about being in a relegation battle come the end of the season with 3 games remaining.

Despite a high penalty count City never looked in danger during this game and controlled it from start to finish. Some stand out performances came from Cian Foskin, Sean O’Mahony and Conor Power but the man of the match was Darren Walsh who stole the show with two sensational tries out of noting with a mix of skill and pace.

Improvements will need to be made before Bandon come to town next week which will be a serious test to our home record but for now City can enjoy this win.
