Club Youth Officers Upskill on Child Welfare

Over the past month Munster Rugby has run three Club Children’s Officer (Safeguarding 2) training workshops in the province.

The training courses were held in Cork, Limerick and Tralee with representatives from more than thirty clubs taking part.

The workshops helped to clarify and explain the role of the Child Welfare Officer and support the implementation of best practice in clubs. Participants also received a Club Children’s Officer Action Planning document as part of their training.
