19th November 2019 By The Editor
The Munster Rugby Coach Development Department are set to host a Scrum & Skills Workshop, delivered by Munster Technical Skills Development Coach Mike Pettman and former Munster prop BJ Botha on Monday, December 2, at Garryowen FC.
Pettman and Botha will each deliver a session on their specific focus areas designed for coaches who work with players from U16 through to Senior level.
Pettman joined the Munster Rugby Development Department earlier this year as a technical skills development coach.
The former New Zealand 7s player and Dolphin RFC utility back is currently working with Munster’s talent identified players to help develop their technical and tactical ability, as well as improving the standards of skills coaching on the Munster pathway within clubs and schools.
Botha, a former Munster prop and South African international, made over 100 appearances for the province between 2011-2016.
The Scrum & Skills Workshop is FREE and coaches from across the province are welcome to attend – for more information please contact your respective coach development officers.
