Coaches Workshop At Bantry Bay RFC

Munster Rugby recently held two workshops for coaches at Bantry Bay RFC, assisted by the Club’s Community Rugby Officer Damien Hicks.

A total of 11 coaches were in attendance on the evening joining the club’s Under 14 and Under 16 players who facilitated the practical element of both workshops.

The Under 14 module focused on ball defence and tackle techniques.

Coaches overseeing the Under 16s went through the breakdown within the game and broke it down into various components. These included the ball carrier, ball presentation and arriving players on attack and defence.
