Coaching Vacancies

Clubs from around Munster are looking for suitable candidates to get involved with coaching at various levels throughout the province.

We will be posting vacancies on this page throughout the off-season. If your club is looking to fill a position and would like to advertise it on the Munster Rugby website, please email the details to seangeary@munsterrugby.ie.

COACHING VACANCIES

– Munster Junior League club Fermoy RFC are currently in the process of recruiting a new head coach for their junior team. For more information, please contact Barry Richards on 087 279 3877.

– Munster Junior League club Castleisland RFC are seeking a new coach or a player-coach for their first team next season. Anybody interested in this position can contact the club on 087 6737 147 or to contact the club via their Facebook page here.

– Highfield RFC senior women's squad are seeking experienced head and assistant coaches for the upcoming 2015/16 season.

The team competes at the highest level of the women's club game in Ireland, AIL Division 1 and has reached the National Cup final for four consecutive years.

They have an experienced squad including international and interprovincial players and a number of talented players coming through from the underage structure.

The coaching team will be supported by a strong management and administrative committee throughout the season and the women’s section as a whole receives unstinting support from the club.

This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to progress their rugby coaching career.

Requirements:
Available to attend 2 training nights per week and match days (Sunday).
Ideally with a minimum of a Level 1 rugby coaching qualification. (Click here to view Munster Rugby's upcoming coaching courses).
Professional Approach.
Good communication and organisation skills.

Highfield Player Recruitment
The club are also looking to recruit new players of all ages and levels for their senior, development and underage squads so if you have played or are looking to start playing women's rugby in Cork why not come join us at Highfield RFC. We will be hosting our annual 'Give It A Try' Open Day later this summer with details to follow.
