Coaching Workshop At Cashel RFC

Munster Rugby recently hosted a Stage 1 and Stage 2 Coaching Workshop in Cashel RFC for all Tipperary Clubs.

A total of 40 Coaches were present representing Cashel, Clanwilliam, Fethard, Galbally, Kilfeacle and Thurles rugby clubs.

Players from the Cashel U10 and U14 underage section took part in the session which was coordinated by Munster Rugby Coaching Officers John Lacey and Andrew Brace.

The Stage 1 Workshop showed a wide range of sample fun games with the main focus of the session on evasion and continuity through general movement. An introduction showing the concept and importance of physical literacy in the planning of each session was also included.

The second Workshop geared towards Stage 2 Coaches which focused at the key factor analysis through continuity and game appreciation general movement in the collective and reduced.

Both workshops concluded with a presentation to all coaches on the new trial laws at the scrum which has come in this season globally.
