Coaching Workshop At St. Senan’s RFC

St. Senan’s foundation level coaches recently participated in a Munster Rugby Coaching Workshop at their club grounds in Tullyvarraga, Co. Clare.

A total of 10 coaches took part and worked with the St. Senan’s U16 squad during the practical element of the course.

The Workshop concentrated on all aspects of the game which included ‘continuity in the contact area’ and ‘decision making in the ruck’.

Speaking at the workshop Munster Community Rugby Officer Euan Gee commented “we are delighted with the turnout tonight and it’s great to see coaches here with such enthusiasm.

“Rugby workshops are available throughout the province for all our clubs and schools. We would encourage coaches to contact their local Community Rugby Officer and arrange a session in order to continue improving their skills and coaching techniques.”
