Coaching Workshop At UL Bohemian

Munster Rugby Coaching Officers Andy Brace and Fiach O’Loughlin held a coaching workshop last Monday night at UL Bohemian’s home ground in Annacotty.

A total of 24 coaches were in attendance as well as approximately 90 players from Limerick senior clubs Garryowen, UL Bohemian and Old Crescent.

The workshop began with an introduction to the Rugby Faculty which focused on season planning, session planning and session content.

All Coaches then took to the pitch for a sample coaching session followed by a 10 a side rugby blitz for attending players.

The evening concluded with a presentation on creating a club ethos for parents, coaches and players and working towards encouraging and supporting young developing players throughout their rugby pathway.
