Coaching Workshop At Young Munster

Munster Rugby recently held a coaching workshop for Young Munster RFC youth coaches.

The Young Munster Under 13 squad took part in the on field session under the observation of over 20 club coaches.

The main areas covered were the breakdown and tackle technique while focussing on Munster Rugby’s underage best practice philosophy.

The Workshop highlighted the benefits of coaching in the collective with an emphasis on reduced skill development through activities. Coaches were shown different activities to develop individual skills including the development of passing, hand-eye coordination and defence.
