Cobh And Carrick Girls Win Special Prize

Tonight’s Women’s 6 Nations game between Ireland and France will be a very special occasion for the U-15 girls’ sides from Cobh Pirates and Carrick on Suir.
Both teams won a competition to play at the half-time break against clubs from Navan and Mullingar. The girls will also provide a guard of honour for the Ireland and France sides before kick-off at Ashbourne.
The competition was run by Munster Rugby with girls’ sides from across the province invited to send in a video showcasing their rugby skills and highlighting their team's unique features.
The videos made by the girls of Cobh and Carrick were chosen as the best entries and they are sure to enjoy a special night in Ashbourne.
