Concussion Workshop At Highfield & Garryowen

Munster Rugby in conjunction with the IRFU will host two Concussion Workshops next week in Cork and Limerick.
Highfield RFC will host the Cork workshop on Monday, 22nd February while the Limerick workshop will take place on Tuesday, 23rdFebruary at Garryowen FC.
Both workshops commence at 7pm and will be presented by the IRFU First Aid and Injury Prevention Coordinator Shane Mooney.
The presentation will focus on modules that relate to Concussion Recognition Management and Return to Play protocols followed by a Question and Answer session.
The workshops are designed to educate coaches, parents, players and referees on the dangers of concussion and how to recognise it.
All club and school coaches are encouraged to attend the workshops which are free of charge. Please note places are limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
