Copeland & O’Donoghue Visit Abbeyfeale RFC
20th May 2016 By Munster Rugby
Munster players Jack O’Donoghue and Robin Copeland recently paid a visit to Limerick club Abbeyfeale RFC.
The Munster players made a special presentation to the club’s Under 14 squad to acknowledge their season’s success in winning both the league and cup competitions in West Munster.
In what was a memorable year for many of Abbeyfeale's underage outfits, the club also paid a special tribute to their Under 15 girls who also captured a league and cup double, to cap off a superb achievement in what was a highly competitive season.
This season also proved successful for Abbeyfeale’s adult rugby with their Junior team winning the Munster Junior League Division 2 title and the Betty O'Mahony Challenge Shield, while their Ladies teams exceeded all expectations to claim numerous titles.
Munster Rugby would like to congratulate Abbeyfeale RFC on a great season and wish them continued success for 2016-17.
