Crescent Knock Out Defending Champions

Crescent College Comprehensive have qualified for the Munster Schools Senior Cup semi finals following their win over reigning champions Rockwell College today at Clanwilliam Park.
Crescent College easily advanced to the last four of the Schools Senior Cup thanks to an inspirational display from their full back Daniel Hurley.
The Crescent number 15 opened the scoring with a penalty after five minutes and followed it up with a try and conversion on nineteen minutes for a 10-0 half time lead.
Seven minutes into the second half Crescent extended their advantage with a try from Niall Murray which Hurley converted to make 17-0.
Rockwell hit back immediately when following a maul Ben Murray was credited with a try for Rockwell, but that was not enough to keep them in the competition.
