Cup Wins For Dolphin And U.L. Bohes

The quarter final line up of the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup has been completed after Dolphin and U.L. Bohemian won their opening games.
At Irish Independent Park Dolphin defeated neighbours Sunday’s Well 26-16.
Dolphin raced into an early 15-0 after fifteen minutes with tries from skipper Chris Rowe and Robert O’Sullivan and Daryl Foley kicked a conversion and a penalty.
Shane O’Riordan opened the visitors account with a penalty but Dolphin hit back immediately with a second try from O’Sullivan for a 20-3.
The ‘Well dominated the remainder of the opening half and a try from Joshua Neilson converted by O’Sullivan to leave Dolphin 20-10 ahead at half time.
Dolphin were pinned back for long periods in the second half but for all their efforts, the Well’s only reward were two penalties from O’Riordan.
Foley kept Dolphin ahead with two penalties.
At Annacotty U.L. Bohemian booked their place in the last eight with a 13-8 win over Cashel.
Cian Ahern scored a try for Bohes and Rick McKenna kicked a conversion and two penalties. Brendan O’Connor replied with a try for Cashel and Tom McHale kicked a penalty.

Nenagh Ormond v Dolphin,
U.C.C. v Old Crescent,
Young Munster v U.L Bohemian.
