Currow National School Prepare For Summer Camps
23rd June 2015 By Munster Rugby
Pupils from Currow National School in Castleisland prepared for the upcoming Bank of Ireland Summer Camp with a skills day in the school last week.
Former Ireland women's international Siobhán Fleming is a teacher at the school and she helped co-ordinate the session for the pupils from third to sixth class.
The children were partaking in many activities that will be part of the upcoming Summer Camps which will take place in 22 venues throughout the province.
Currow has produced a number of top-class rugby players with Tom Doyle, Mick Doyle, Moss Keane and Mick Galwey all natives of the village. JJ Hanrahan also hails from Currow along as well as Siobhán herself.
Munster Rugby would like to thank the school for supporting the fun activities with Castleisland RFC hosting a Summer Camp from Monday, July 13 until Friday, July 17.
