Develop And Improve Your Club

Munster Rugby are hosting a "Best Practice" Exchange Workshop on Running a Community Sports Club this coming Monday, 8th April at 7.30pm in the Charleville Park Hotel.

The aim of the evening is for club members to exchange their experiences and to provide an opportunity for clubs to learn about what works well in other clubs.

Pre-selected club representatives will give short presentations during the evening on relevant areas of strength within their club and how they achieve success. Topics covered will include fundraising, use of social media and running events for the community. We will also look at case studies from across Ireland and Scotland in areas such as membership, women in rugby (on and off the field) and how to attract and retain families.

What you will take away?

In this Exchange of Ideas and Best Practice Workshop you will be encouraged to ask questions and share your experiences. Everyone will be able to bring away new and innovative ways to help your club. You will also meet new people and create new contacts where you can continue to develop and share your ideas to help support each other and help develop rugby in Munster.

The evening is being facilitated by Mr John Oates who has been working in the sports industry for fifteen years with a focus on the development of clubs and their customers.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain knowledge on new ways to develop and improve your club.

Places are strictly limited (2 attendees per club) and will be filled on a first come first served basis.

If your club would like to attend this workshop please contact Siobhan Collins to siobhancollins@munsterrugby.ie by midday on Monday, 8th April.
