Dolphin v Cork Con Will Be Streamed Live

The All Ireland League Cork derby between Dolphin and Cork Constitution this Friday night will be streamed live on IrishRugby.ie.

Coverage from Musgrave Park starts at 7:25pm with a kick-off time of 7:30pm.

Cork Con are currently second in Division 1A with hosts and city rivals Dolphin just five points behind.

Dolphin Captain Christy Condon is expecting an exciting encounter:

“Last season’s game on Good Friday was an absolute thriller and this Friday will be no different. The club is expecting a huge crowd and the players are relishing the opportunity."

"I would urge any sports fan in Cork to come out and see a top quality game. The stars of tomorrow are on show. Just two years ago Simon Zebo, Peter O’Mahony, James Coughlan and Tomás O’Leary played in this fixture. So if you want a good night’s entertainment join us in Musgrave Park”

Munster’s Scannell brothers, Niall and Rory, could feature for Dolphin and the family affair continues in the Cork Constitution squad with brothers Luke and Gavin Duffy both involved with the Temple Hill outfit.

Cork Con will go into the game full of confidence after they came from behind to beat Garryowen last weekend with a late Bryan Cagney try securing an 18-15 win.

Dolphin meanwhile will be looking to get back on track after their 22-7 loss away to leaders UCD last Saturday, their only try coming courtesy of Rory Scannell.

On the weekend when Ireland play Samoa in the Guinness Series the action will kick off with a mouth-watering round of Friday Night Lights games in Division 1A of the league and they don't come bigger than the Cork derby.

Irish Rugby TV has been providing live streams and match highlights of key games in the Ulster Bank League in recent seasons but Friday night is the first time this classic Cork club clash will feature on the schedule. Visit www.irishrugby.ie for live streaming on Friday night.

The gates at Musgrave Park will open at 6pm on Friday night.

Admission is €;10 for Adults and Under 12s get in free of charge.
