Waterpark are the kingpins of Munster Youth rugby with both their Under 18’s and Under 16’s winning their respective Bank of Ireland Youth Finals
Thomond Park Stadium hosted four of the six of the Bank of Ireland Youth Finals, two on the back pitch and two on the main pitch.
In a thrilling Bank of Ireland Under 18 decider Waterpark edged out Bruff 35-28 in a game that swung from end to end and produced nine tries.
Bruff enjoyed the better of the exchanges in the opening half and went ahead with a penalty, their only successful kick of the day, but Alex Molloy levelled with a penalty for Waterpark.

A try from a maul after a line out and one by Liam Barrett gave Bruff a 13-3 half time lead.
Waterpark hit back with tries from Dev Murphy and Daniel O’Keeffe and Molloy converted both and also kicked a penalty for a 20-13 lead.
A third try from Joe O’Connell for Bruff reduced the deficit to 20-18.
A drop goal from Molloy and a second try by O’Keeffe in the corner made it 28-18.
Back came Bruff with a try and the conversion came back off the upright. Pádraig Gannon scored Waterpark’s fourth try and Molloy converted, but a fighting Bruff side replied with their fifth try however it was not enough to deny Waterpark a great double.
Waterpark won the Bank of Ireland Under 16 Cup for a third success time with an 18-15 win over Bandon on the main pitch in Thomond Park.
Ben Daly opened the scoring with a drop goal for Waterpark but a penalty by Jack Crowley drew Bandon level to leave the sides 3-3 at half time.
A try by Oisin Daly and a conversion and penalty by Ben Daly put Waterpark 13-3 ahead after forty one minutes.
Joshua Brady kept Bandon in the contest with a try and Crowley converted.
Gavin Corbett put Waterpark 18-10 ahead with a try but a second Bandon try from Sean Galvin could not prevent Waterpark from retaining their crown.
In a thrilling Bank of Ireland Under 18 Bowl Final on the back pitch Kanturk edged out Ballincollig 13-10. Ballincollig got off to a great start with a try from Cillian Buckley and a try from Conor Downey had Ballincollig leading 10-6 at half time. Evan Murphy kicked Kanturk’s two penalties.
However a super try for Kanturk which started on their own line saw Cillian Buttimer, who played a major part in his side’s victory, score the try and Murphy converted.
Kanturk had to endure a few anxious moments before the final whistle as Ballincollig did everything to save the game.
The other game on the back pitch saw Kilfeacle take the Bank of Ireland Under 16 Bowl Final with a 19-0 win over Muskerry.
Turlough Breen, Ryan Renehan and Danny Ryan scored tries for Kilfeacle and Tony Byron kicked two conversions.
