The Competitions Committee have announced the draw for the third round of this season’s Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Cup.

This is the Round where the Division 1 clubs in the Munster Junior League and the top Senior clubs’ second sides enter the competition.

While the draw is not clear cut as the result of Rounds 1 and 2 have yet to be decided, it has produced some mouth-watering clashes.

The outstanding game is a repeat of last year’s final which saw Garryowen defeat Kilfeacle 16-12 in an epic final, but this time Kilfeacle will have home advantage.

Other ties to catch the eye are Shannon hosting Sunday’s Well, Muskerry will entertain Cork Constitution and Bandon will travel to Richmond.

Mallow have a home tie against local rivals Kanturk and Charleville will face a difficult tie away to Young Munster.

The third-round ties are set for Sunday 25th February.
