Dungarvan Concussion Awareness Workshop

The Park Hotel in Dungarvan is the venue for the next Concussion Awareness Workshops on Monday with places still available.

""This Concussion Awareness Workshop starts at 7pm, is free of charge and co-ordinated by the Munster Rugby Development Department, in conjunction with the IRFU and Waterford Sports Partnership.

Shane Mooney, IRFU First Aid & Injury Prevention Co-ordinator, will host the workshop which will include modules relating to Concussion Recognition Management and Return to Play protocols followed by a Question and Answer session.

The content has been designed to educate coaches, parents, players and referees on the dangers of concussion and how to recognise it.

All Club and School coaches and officials are encouraged to attend the workshops which are free of charge.

Please note places are limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
