East Munster Cadets & RDS Player Meeting

Munster Rugby recently held a short presentation evening for players and their parents of the East Munster Cadets and Regional Development Squad.

Players were briefed on the upcoming summer programme which begins on 8th July in Rockwell College where they will complete two on pitch sessions a week, coached by Munster Rugby Development Officers Andy Brace and Ken O’Connell.

Eddie Kiely (Cadets/RDS Manager) addressed both squads regarding the dedication and commitment required for the programme's success in pushing players towards a Munster Interprovincial Squad place within the next couple of years.

Rugby development sessions throughout the summer will focus mainly on Skill Development and General Movement and will also be combined with two 45 minute Strength & Conditioning sessions under the supervision of Anthony McGrath.

The North, South, East and West Regional Development Squads will compete in a Round Robin Series following their respective summer programmes ahead of the 2014 Munster U18 Youths selection process.
