9th June 2015 By Munster Rugby
The exams are in full flow and the summer is upon us. For many young players it is time to rest, but getting the right nutrition is still important and the IRFU have provided information to help young players get on the right track.
The off-season is a time for relaxing and taking a break both physically and mentally from the stress of the season.
It is really important that you take advantage of this time, to give your body a chance to be recharged for the beginning of next season.
Nutrition plays a part here too, and this information aims to outline how you can get the most out of what you eat in order to stay in good shape.
The key messages for the off season are 'Take A Break' and then 'Set A Goal' – whether it is building body mass or trimming body fat, we have advice on how do this properly.
