Educational Modules At Munster Talent Camp

Three time Olympian and two time World Champion rower Dr. Sam Lynch attended the Munster Rugby Talent Camp last night at Rockwell College.

Dr. Lynch spoke to all 110 Munster Representative players (U20, U19 and U18 clubs and schools) on motivation, personal responsibilities and goal setting and shared his experiences of competing at the highest levels.

This followed a visit from Ruth Wood-Martin, IRFU High Performance Nutritionist, who met with the squads the previous evening to discuss the basic principles of sports nutrition and the benefits of players monitoring their own personal diets for their general well-being.

Ruth will continue to meet the players each week over the camp duration as part of the educational element of the programme.
