Emerging Schools Blitz Days Continue

Munster Rugby are currently running blitz days throughout the province for secondary school pupils attending non-traditional rugby playing schools.
Pupils at U15 age grade representing Clare, Limerick and Tipperary took part in 11 aside rugby at venues in Lee’s Rd Ennis, Bruff RFC and Cashel RFC coordinated by Munster Rugby Development Officers.
Participating schools were as follows:-
Clare: Rice College, St Caimins, St Patricks, Kilmihill and St Annes Killaloe.
Limerick: JTB Hospital, Askeaton, SMI Newcastle West and Villiers.
Tipperary: Abbey CBS, Cashel Community College, Nenagh CBS, Nenagh College, Kilfinanne, St Joseph’s Borrisoleigh, Caloiste dun iasaigh Cahir and Scoil na Trionoide Naofa Doon.
The programme has been rolled out throughout the province and will continue over the next few weeks.
This initiative has been developed to give young people attending non-traditional rugby playing schools the opportunity to play the sport and it is hoped they will continue to participate at their local club.
