Emerging Schools Blitz Days Continue

Munster Rugby are currently running blitz days throughout the province for secondary school pupils attending non-traditional rugby playing schools.
Pupils at Under 15 age grade representing Clare, Limerick and Tipperary took part in their third round of 11 aside rugby coordinated by Munster Community Rugby Officers.
Participating schools were as follows:-
Clare: St Caimins, Rice College, St John Bosko Kildysart, Scariff and St Michaels Kilmihill.
Limerick: SMI Newcastle West, Askeaton, St Clements, St Nessans and Villiers
Tipperary: Abbey CBS, Nenagh College, Borrisoleigh, Colaiste Mhuire Co-Ed Thurles and Colaiste Dun Iascaigh Cahir.
This initiative has been developed to give young people attending non-traditional rugby playing schools the opportunity to play the sport and it is hoped they will continue to participate at their local club.
The programme has been rolled out throughout the province and will continue over the next few weeks.

Clare Conference, Thursday 7th April
Tipperary Conference, Friday 8th April
The finals day for the Northern Section is now confirmed for Wednesday 20th April, Thomond Park Stadium. The top two from each section (Clare, Limerick and Tipperary) with a 3rd and 4th best runners up will advance.
