Feighery And O’Mahony In World Cup Squad

UL Boh’s Jeanette Feighery and Tralee’s Laura O’Mahony have been named in the Ireland Women’s Rugby World Cup Sevens Squad.
The Munster contingent has been reduced greatly due to injuries picked up in the tournaments in Brive and Marbella, with Niamh Briggs, Ashling Hutchings, Niamh Kavanagh and Claire Keohane all ruled out.
The 12 woman squad travel to Russia next week for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in Moscow, taking place on June 29th and 30th.
Ireland are placed in pool B with Australia, China and South Africa.
