Final Interprovincial Fixture For Munster U19’s

The Munster U19 Squad conclude their interprovincial season this coming Saturday in Ashbourne RFC against Leinster ‘Whites’ in the final play-off of the series ko 2.30pm.
Munster finished second in their Pool following a win to Ulster and loss to the Leinster ‘Blues’ which sets up their final game against second placed Leinster 'Whites' in Pool B.
The new format of the U19 interpros was introduced this season which saw three teams divived into two pools and all six teams (Munster, Leinster Blues, Leinster Whites, Ulster, Connacht and Irish Exiles) will play in Ashbourne this Saturday to conclude the series.
Munster U19 Head Coach Keith Murphy said “ We are very happy with our U19 programme this season which has included the involvement of the inaugural Munster Summer Talent Camp in Rockwell College. We were also very happy with our pre season warm-up games with wins over Irish Exiles U19, Irish Exiles U20, Connacht and in our final challenge game last week against UCC U21’s”.
“Leading into the final game of this season’s interpros we are aware of the big challenge ahead but are confident that we are well prepared for the task”.
“We have a very committed squad of players who have dedicated their time to their rugby development in camp over the past eleven weeks and have shown great promise for the future”.
