Four Munster Women Named For Ireland

The Ireland Women’s squad to play England women in a historic first Autumn International match has been named which includes four Munster players from this year’s winning Interprovincial side.

There are new faces on the squad, with ten players named uncapped at this level that include Munster’s Elaine Anthony (second row), Zoe Grattage (hooker) and Fiona Reidy (prop).

Munster captain Niamh Briggs (full-back) has also been named as they side prepare for the defense of their 6 Nations title.

Ireland take on their English counterparts at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday 14th November with a 3pm Kick off.

Speaking ahead of the game, Ireland Women's Coach Tom Tierney said "we are looking forward to the game in November. It's the first time we have played an Autumn International which is another step in the development in women's rugby.
