Galbally RFC Hold Two Large Primary Schools Blitzes

Galbally RFC, with the support of Munster Rugby, have recently held two primary school blitzes for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class students.

In October, a blitz was held for 5th and 6th class students which saw 350 children in attendance. 20 teams from a number of schools were represented on the day from the following locations; Ballylanders, Galbally, Anglesboro, Kilbehenny, Mount Bruis, Shronell, Glenbrohane, Knocklong, Knockadea and Aherlow.

A blitz for 3rd and 4th class students was held earlier this month which saw 14 teams from a number of schools in the area take part on the day; Ballylanders, Galbally, Anglesboro, Kilbehenny, Knocklong and Aherlow.

Munster Rugby men’s senior players Josh Wycherley and Diarmuid Barron were also in attendance on the day.
