27th February 2015 By Munster Rugby
Garryowen have moved to within a point of leaders Galwegians in Division 1B of the Ulster Bank League.
Garryowen 37 – 14 U.L. Bohemian
A bonus point win for Garryowen at Dooradoyle sees them just a point behind leaders Galwegians with just three games remaining, after a convincing victory over local rivals U.L. Bohemian.
Both these sides will be eagerly keeping a close eye on tomorrow’s game in Belfast between relegation threatened Malone and promotion chasing Ballymena as well as the Shannon v Dublin University tie at Thomond Park.
Garryowen led 18-0 at half time with tries from Josh Hrstich and James Frawley and a conversion and two penalties by Jamie Gavin.
Tries from skipper Dave Sherry and Alex Wootton both converted by Gavin secured Garryowen the bonus point.
