Garryowen Lions Roar Forward

The Garryowen Lions Disability Rugby team continues to go from strength to strength.
Now in their third consecutive season, the team which is closely aligned to the Daughters of Charity service are due to compete in the first ever Wooden Spoon International Disability TAG Tournament in Belfast on the 6th and 7th June.
Over the past season the team have been training in Dooradoyle and University of Limerick every Monday and have played matches against Westmanstown and Mullingar RFC.
The Garryowen Lions were recent benefactors of a donation from the Shane Geoghegan Memorial Tournament. These funds will go towards the purchase of new kit for the upcoming season.
