Garryowen FC Host Blitz For 400 Primary School Students

All roads led to Garryowen Tuesday morning as the club hosted a blitz for over 400 primary school kids.
These players came from 10 different schools from across the province.
The schools in attendance were Scoil Ide, Corpus Chritsi, Let’s Educate Together, Thomond National, Donoughmore NS, Gaelscoil Sheoirse Clancy, Gaelscoil an Raithin, St Nessans Parteen, Meelick and St Michaels.
It was a hugely successful day for those attending as each team got to play a number of games of touch rugby.
There was no winner of this blitz as organisers aimed to promote the game to these schools and encourage the pupils to give rugby a try.
