The Give It A Try programme has been a fantastic success in clubs across Munster this summer with a large number of young players getting involved.

The programme is designed to kick start the participation of girls up the age of 14 in clubs and boost existing playing numbers by attracting new players with a fun introduction to the sport.

Ballincollig RFC, Skibbereen RFC, Old Crescent RFC, Killarney RFC, Iveragh Eagles and Highfield have all held successful sessions.

The first Give It A Try at UL Bohemians takes place this Tuesday night with Shannon RFC also set to host Give It A Try sessions in the coming weeks.
