Girls Rugby Action At Corca Dhuibhne RFC

Girls rugby is alive and kicking at Corca Dhuibhne RFC under the guidance of Head Coach Dan O’ Keffee.

The girls taking part range in ages from 13 to 18 years and are delighted with the opportunity to play rugby within their local Club.

Women’s Community Rugby Officer Amanda Greensmith recently attended the girls training session which focussed on the contact aspect of the game and was delighted to witness the excellent tackling abilities on show.

The girls will continue to train over the coming weeks and months with the view of attending age grade blitz competitions within the province.
