Munster Rugby brings you recent updates on girls’ rugby throughout the province.
Schools Tag Rugby Blitz at CIT
Munster Rugby recently hosted a secondary school tag rugby blitz days in CIT with 130 girls taking part on the day.
This was the final day of a series of girls tag rugby blitzes’ which have been running throughout the province for secondary schools girls over the past number of months.
Munster Rugby will host a girls’ schools sevens competition in the New Year as part of the ‘Play Rugby’ initiative.

Munster Club 7’s Finish in Coonagh
The Munster Club 7’s competition for under 14, under 16 and 18 girls concluded for the season at Shannon RFC’s ground in Coonagh recently.
It was all to play for in the final day of competition for the girls and the rugby on display didn’t fail to impress.
St Mary’s RFC came out on top in the U14 and U16 categories while Carrigaline U18’s claimed top prize for the second year running.
