Girls Rugby On The Up in Killarney

As the sport continues to grow around the province Killarney RFC recently ran their first girls only mini rugby training session,

Under the guidance of Coach Denis Corridon Killarney RFC welcomed girls at mini rugby level for their first girls only training session.

The club's latest recruits are testament to the great work that is being carried out around the region with girls rugby growing in popularity.

In looking to source new recruits the club held an open day for the schools in the area and with over 130 girls attending on the day participation was at an all-time high with everyone learning new skills and
enjoying the fun elements of rugby.
