Glorious Sunshine & Rugby In Nenagh

Another smashing day at Nenagh and another memorable blitz

Last Wednesday morning saw over 135 primary school children basked in sunshine at Nenagh Ormond, taking part in another blitz in the north-Tipp town.

Kids from Borrisokane NS, Gael Scoil Aonach, Boher NS, CBS Primary and Portroe NS all profited from a smashing morning’s weather that caught most of the country last week, and in hot conditions the skill level and most of all the fitness on show was extremely impressive.

Yet another opportunity for these children in county Tipperary to get to grips with the oval ball game, and if these blitzes are anything to go by, there is an enormous appetite for rugby in every nook and cranny around the province.

Munster Rugby would like to thank the schools involved for participating, Pat Fitzpatrick for organising, and Nenagh Ormond RFC for again hosting another fantastic blitz.
