Grand Slam Hopes For Ireland

The Ireland U20 team to face England in their final 6 Nations Championship match in Adams Park, on Friday, 16th March (kick-off 8.05pm) has been named.

Ireland, who are current table leaders on eight points will be competing for a grand slam title which they last held in 2007.

Head Coach Mike Ruddock has made three changes to the side which defeated Scotland 27-0 last weekend in Athlone.

Loosehead Prop, Des Merrey starts his first game of the championship having been used as a replacement in each of the previous four games. Kyle McCall moves to tighthead with Munster’s Niall Scannell named at hooker having missed the previous game through injury.

The match will be broadcast live from Adams Park on Sky Sports 2.
