Half-Time Report: Munster Junior League

The Munster Junior League resumes on Sunday after the Christmas break with the three divisions now at the halfway stage with 36 of the 37 teams in action on Sunday.

Clonmel lead the way once again in Division 1 with seven wins from seven games as they look to win the league for the third year in a row.

Newcastle West are just a point further back with Clanwilliam and Bandon also in the chasing pack. At the other end of the table Old Christians are still searching for their first win as Clonakilty, Muskerry and Skibbereen are also struggling at the wrong end of the table.

Waterpark have won all seven of their games in Division 2 as they look to bounce straight back up to Division 1 with Youghal, Thurles and St Mary’s all in hot pursuit. At the other end of the table Tralee, Ennis and Charleville face a battle to avoid the drop into Division 3.

Killorglin are the pacesetters in Division 3 with six wins from six with Mitchelstown nine points back in second place. Dungarvan, Fermoy, Chorca Dhuibhne, DouglasCarrigaline and Killarney make up the mid-table pack.
